Frequently Asked Questions
What is massage therapy and why is it beneficial?
Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment focused on muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints to help relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility. It supports recovery from injuries, improves circulation, and promotes overall physical well-being.
Massage therapy can help break the pain cycle and improve both physical and mental health.
Can I receive massage therapy even if I’m not injured?
Yes. Massage therapy is not only for injuries. Many clients use massage therapy as preventive care to maintain mobility, reduce stress, and improve posture.
If your work involves sitting for long periods or repetitive movements, regular massage therapy can help prevent muscle imbalance and discomfort before it becomes chronic.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
Treatment frequency depends on your condition and goals.
For acute conditions, sessions may be recommended 1–2 times per week initially. As symptoms improve, visits become less frequent.
For maintenance or stress relief, many clients choose to come every few weeks.
Your therapist will provide personalized recommendations after your assessment.
